A young woman accidentally live-streamed her own tragic death after she drowned in a hotel swimming pool.
Hellen Nyabuto, 24, had been live streaming to Facebook when she began to struggle in a pool at the Key Motel in Chatsworth, Ontario, Canada, last week (August 19).
The video, which has since been deleted, shows Nyabuto, a nurse originally from Kenya, smiling, laughing and chatting to viewers in the pool's shallow end before swimming out to the deeper end and running into trouble about three minutes into the ill-fated stream, the Toronto Star reported.

Nyabuto then fell out of shot of the stream, but her blood-curdling cries for help could still be heard by horrified viewers watching on through their screens.
A horrifying silence followed a few minutes later, with the film continuing until Hellen was discovered several hours later by fellow motel guests.
Friends and family both in Kenya and Canada, where she moved to in 2018, have expressed their shock and sadness at her death.

The victim's heartbroken father, Kiyondi Nyabuto, even revealed he didn't know his daughter had died until he was told via text by one of her friends.
Meanwhile a close friend of Hellen, Alfonce Nyamwaya, told how the devastated family would be affected.
She said: "Hellen was the breadwinner back home for her family. She’s been supporting them and it’s left a big gap.
"We need prayers. We need financial support."
Alfonce also issued a plea for the video footage not to be shared out of respect for Hellen and asked people to stop spreading rumours that her death was suspicious.
"Let the family mourn in peace," she said. "Let Hellen rest. It was an accident."
Ontario Provincial Police issued a statement to local media, confirming a woman had died at a pool in Chatsworth.
They also remarked that investigators had been made aware of the video doing the rounds online before it was ultimately removed from Facebook.
Hellen's body is currently being held in Toronto while her family makes the difficult decision about whether to repatriate her.
Some family members have launched a campaign to raise $50,000 (£42,000) to have her brought home to Kenya.
