Wrestling legend Jeff Hardy has been arrested for a slew of charges including drink and drug driving – a third driving under the influence offence within 10 years.
The former WWE star was arrested in Volusia County, Florida shortly after midnight on Sunday night, according to police.
The 44-year-old star is currently contracted to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) alongside his brother Matt – after being released by WWE in December following an incident at a live event – and was due do appear in Wednesday night’s live episode of AEW Dynamite.
The charges are alleged third drug or alcohol-related DUI offence within 10 years, driving with a suspended, cancelled or revoked licence, and violation of restrictions placed on a driver’s licence, according to the Volusia County Corrections website.
Hardy's bond was set at $2,500 (£2,060) for the DUI and $500 (£412) for each licence charge.
According to reports, Hardy is scheduled to appear in front of a judge for his first hearing on Tuesday (June 14).
In 2020, Hardy told the Daily Star that he had no concerns over using his real-life addiction issues as part of storylines when he was signed to WWE.
"I'm not a social media guy at all, I don't read comments or the negativity of people who thought it was wrong or that [WWE] were treating me [badly], I don't read any of that," he said.
"I'm just confident in myself to get through it, and when I get a feeling that something's going to be good, I just run with it."

On some of the scenes that formed part of the storyline, he added: "There was some heavy stuff there in the beginning, especially with the wreck scenario. It was just very heavy stuff.
"I'm always interested as everybody is different in so far as how the viewer feels watching at home, especially hardcore fans of mine.
"Even thinking back to the stuff with CM Punk when I was failing drugs tests, they turned it into a storyline and that's what I mean when I talk about roller-coasters of good and bad.
"Throughout all of that, so long as I can continue to do good, especially with this, my last chance to get it right, it is going to inspire people around the world that I'll never meet, that need to stay sober to survive.
"Hopefully I'm doing that through the television screen and helping people I'll never know."
