Content leaks, an abuser husband, and millions of dollars: what’s behind Amouranth’s success
Caitlin “Amouranth” Siragusa has passed the 6 million follower mark on Twitch. 138,000 users have followered the streamer in the past 28 days. This growth has allowed the blogger to enter the list of the top 100 players on the platform. Amouranth is the only girl in the top 100.
One of the most recognizable Influencers on Twitch, Amouranth reached 6 million subscribers earlier this month after returning to streaming after a hiatus.
The latest StreamElements State of the Stream report found that Amouranth was the only female streamer in the Twitch top 100 in October. The girl ranked 53rd, and the next eight women after her are already in the second hundred.
Although Amouranth failed to take the top spot in October, she became the most watched female streamer on Twitch this month, garnering nearly twice as many viewers as her closest competitor, Shiley. To be able to hold such a commanding lead over other female streamers is an impressive feat, achieved shortly after Amouranth took a break from Twitch.
What Amouranth is known for
Amouranth was born in December 1993 in Houston, Texas. She started out as a costume designer. She previously worked in that position at Houston Grand Opera, one of America’s most important opera companies.
Costume design is what brought her to Twitch – her first streams showcased outfits and cosplay that she made herself.
Her first streams in 2016 were most often in the Pokemon and Overwatch categories, where she both played games, which now seems amazing, and showed off outfits. That same year, she launched Patreon. Now she has 200 followers there – not that many, but the minimum price of support is $20.
Already in 2017, Amouranth switched to a completely different format – she went to the IRL category for the first time, and also took up creating videos on YouTube.
The following year, the Amouranth that we already know emerged. She dug deep into ASMR – though it wasn’t that sexualized back then – and even started a separate YouTube channel.
She is arguably the main star of the “Jacuzzi” section on Twitch. Streams featuring her – as well as the IndieFoxx and Leynainu channels – are largely what got Twitch to separate that section from its regular communication.
On Twitch, she has been banned five times already. The longest ban lasted a month. Her Instagram account and her tic-tac-toe were also banned. True, she started new accounts. But bans weren’t the only things that got in her way on Twitch. At the peak of streaming from the swimming pools, her channel was limited affiliate program – at first the channel was banned from showing ads at all, and then just cut the shows and income by a factor of 10.
It’s true that this doesn’t bother her at all. First of all, she ranks first among all Twitch streamers month after month. Secondly, she has other sources of income.
Her videos on OnlyFans alone brought Amouranth $220,000. And the NFT with her image buys for $125,000.

In addition to Onlyfans, Patreon, and other subscription services, Amouranth does other business. In November, for example, she bought a gas station for $4 million. But her main income is still from her loyal followers.

Amouranth’s Husband
Amouranth has been rumored to be married since 2015. True, Amouranth herself has always stated that she is single and that her husband can be anyone she likes. He has nothing against Amouranth nudes leaked on the internet. But she recently shared with her viewers that she married an allegedly abusive partner. Police have visited Amouranth several times after she disclosed the abuse, and porn star and streamer Sasha Grey has asked all streamers who know where Caitlyn lives to get together and visit her.
Amouranth recently broadcast an intense phone conversation with her husband, accusing him of threatening to kill her dogs, and sharing abusive text messages he allegedly sent her.
The text messages, which allegedly came from Amouranth’s husband, included such threats as sending her horse to a meat packing plant, intentionally spending their money, and throwing her goods off a hotel balcony. Apparently Amouranth’s husband has considerable control over the couple’s finances, as their accounts were set up with two-factor authorization using his information.
Understandably, Amouranth’s fans and other content creators were concerned about her well-being after the incident. Amouranth’s content manager, known on Twitter as TheRealMarzbar, said that people on her team were able to talk to her and that she “says she’s fine.”
Before the live broadcast, many of Amouranth’s fans were completely unaware that she was married or in any kind of relationship at all. According to the girl, her husband wanted to create the image of a single model to attract more subscribers. Amouranth herself wanted to reveal the secret in order to improve the couple’s relationship.
Siragusa claimed that her husband controlled her finances, forced her to broadcast more than she wanted, and threatened to kill her dogs if she did not submit to his demands. But it seems they managed to break up without casualties.
Amouranth’s new boyfriend?
On November 20, Amouranth went live on a show called “FIRST DAY WITH GIGACHAD,” in which she went to the climbing gym with a new boyfriend named “Aaron.” After a little climbing, they met each other live, and Aaron revealed that he’s a real traveler and loves to party. He said he is 34 years old and has done bodybuilding in the past, along with his current career as a personal trainer.
Unfortunately, he’s not much of a gamer, which caused a bit of criticism in the chat (although he did mention wanting to buy God of War Ragnarok ). He’s also a Scorpio, which means that both he and Amouranth (Sagittarius) are fire signs.
At this point, it’s unclear if they are officially dating or not, though Amouranth claimed in a recent tweet that her “boyfriend” was debuting on her OnlyFans account, though she later clarified that she meant “backstory” instead.

How much money does Amouranth make from her nudes?
The girl didn’t explicitly say how much she earns, but made it clear that she’s capable of making at least a million dollars a month. She added that her haters have no idea what they are talking about when they talk about her investments. Her purchasing power, she said, has not so much dropped as “doubled” in recent months.
So Amouranth is very confident in her brand and the investments she makes. Despite the great turmoil surrounding her in recent weeks, she doesn’t seem at all worried about her financial future.
The Twitch star is currently being attacked by haters who are “beating money out of her.” They claim that because of all the fuss, which some think is a setup, she has only lost out.
The streamer is apparently very hurt by such climbing, because she decided to write on Twitch , that her wallet is fine. As he points out: “If my platforms and business interests were combined in one place, I’d still have a seven-figure cash flow per month (after taxes) despite interest rates or the economic situation.”
In May, Siragusa invested in S&P Global stock, spending $338,000. That’s a U.S. media holding company that does publishing, as well as financial and business services. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, with more Amouranth invested:
- in Amazon – it bought 500 shares for $2,100 apiece (over $1 million);
- in Visa – about $1 million;
- to a gas station – $4 million;
- to the 7-Eleven chain of stores – $10 million;
- in Activision Blizzard – bought 24,000 shares ($1.9 million);
- in Google – $2 million. Now she owns 2,135 shares of the corporation, the total value of which has grown to $ 5 million.
But that’s not all. Caitlin also spent $10 million to buy a toy company – mostly inflatable pools and pool accessories. She earns $15 million every 12 months by selling to Amazon’s online store and the Costco department store chain. The case was more than successful, so the streamer plans to invest in the project another $7 million over the next seven years. It is noteworthy that part of the money for the investment the girl earns exactly in such an inflatable pool during her streaming in a swimsuit.
Siragusa is one of the largest content creators on the adult website OnlyFans, earning more than $1.5 million a month.
