Day 6 in photos
There was plenty to celebrate for the Australians on day six of the Commonwealth Games, including Ariarne Titmus winning the women’s 400m freestyle in a Games record and Nina Kennedy winning gold in the women’s pole vault.
Here are a couple of our favourite photos, but you can view the full gallery here.

What’s on tonight
There are Australians in action all around Birmingham tonight, but here are a few events to keep your eyes on over the next six hours.
Good afternoon
Hello to all of our Commonwealth Games enthusiasts. My name is Billie Eder and I will be taking you through the events of this afternoon and evening.
We have an exciting night of events ahead of us, with the Diamonds taking on their toughest opponent yet, Jamaica, cycling medals up for grabs, and athletics underway from 7pm.
You are welcome to leave a comment on the blog at anytime, or even a question for our reporters in Birmingham.
Otherwise, enjoy this evening’s events, and let’s get things underway!
